- 1). Log on to the Windows 7 computer.
- 2). Right-click the "Start" button and click on "Open Windows Explorer."
- 3). Browse to the storage device where you wish to create the database; for example, the "G:\" drive.
- 4). Right-click on the storage device window, and from the drop-down list select "New," then "Microsoft Access Database."
- 5). Type a name for the database; for example, "MyDbase."
