There's no other drug on earth that is being taken with so many other different chemicals together than nicotine.
I am talking about dangerous substances that cause cancer.

The eventual result is a massive lung pollution due to the continuous inhalation of irritating chemicals.

Blood-toxic substances, such as carbon monoxide, which can in exhaust fumes replaces oxygen in the red blood cells.
The result of this effect is, that the body is not able to accumulate enough oxygen which causes an oxygen under supply.
The main symptom of this process is a shortness of breath after doing physical effort.

Neuro Toxic Chemicals
The main neuro-toxic substance contained in cigarettes that has an effect on the body is nicotine.
It takes influence on the brain by increasing the amount of nicotine receptors in the so-called "reward system" that produces dopamine.
The result of the whole process is the eventual addiction to nicotine, that smokers feel in form of a strong urge to smoke a cigarette.

Carcinogen Chemicals
Carcinogen chemicals are the last group of substances.
Just as the name says, those substances can cause cancer.
Some of them are just a part of the tobacco plant, others are being added to the plant to achieve several effects.
One of those substances that is being added to tobacco is benzopyrene.
The purpose of this chemical is to make the smoke smoother and easier to inhale deeply.
This way it is meant to strengthen the addiction to nicotine, because the body is then able to absorb more nicotine.
There is still many chemicals in cigarettes, that have relatively unknown effects on the human body, but as almost 20% of the 12.
000 chemicals contained in cigarettes are harmful, you can be sure, that at least 20% of the unknown substances are harmful too.
