- 1). Visit the movie theater's website and find the movie you want to see. Click on “purchase tickets,” (or something similar, such as "buy tickets") next to the movie listing. You should see a drop down menu or something similar that allows you to select the date and time of your movie.
- 2). Select the movie you want to see from the menu. You should be able to choose a type of ticket, such as adult matinee, child or senior. You can also select the number of tickets for each category. Click on the continue button to check out.
- 3). Enter your personal and credit card information. This includes the credit card expiration date and the zip code for your billing statement. Provide your email address so the website can send you an email confirmation of your purchase.
- 4). Check your email and retrieve the confirmation. This email provides all of the information you need to pick up your tickets from the theater, or print them out. The information you receive may not be applicable to all theaters so make sure you follow the directions provided. The tickets should have a confirmation number, so if you are unable to print the tickets out from your computer simply take the confirmation number with you to the theater.
