Ideas for Quinceanera Centerpieces for Tables
- One tradition for the Quinceanera involves the last doll. This tradition can become part of your centerpiece as you use a small plastic doll in your display. Select a doll with the same hair color as your child, and dress the doll in the same color and type of gown. The doll can go in a stand with several flower petals around the base, or you can elevate the doll on a cake stand and wrap a garland of flowers around the rim of the stand, with greenery beneath.
- As this is her special day, make her feel like a princess. A glass slipper can become the container for a floral display, especially if you elevate it on a couple of books covered with velvet. The addition of foam in the slipper allows you to stick bright yellow daffodils or a flower of her choice inside. Several pictures of her, in a white horse-drawn carriage frame, surround the slipper and give guests memories of her from childhood to adulthood.
- Candles are part of the Quinceanera tradition, so include them as part of your centerpiece design. A five-arm candelabra can contain white candles to symbolize her purity; place a flower garland around the arms and base. A round vase may contain 15 floating orchid candles inside to celebrate her age. Or you can group a collection of tea lights with several crystal figurines on a mirror surface to reflect a soft glow through the night.
- This is the day for your little girl to shine, so bring in a star design for her centerpiece. The star may be an open metallic one that allows you to weave flowers through it or a silver paper orb star. A star vase can hold a cascading display of lilies and tulips, or you can soak a star foam shape and insert mum blossoms into it. A balloon star can float above black letters of your child's name or wrap around a lighted star display.
