Bathroom Cleaning Equipment
- Many bathroom-specific cleaners are available, including greener products that contain fewer toxic chemicals. You may prefer to buy separate tile, toilet, glass and floor cleaners, whereas others may use one multipurpose cleaner. Alternatively, you can also make your own using baking soda and vinegar. At minimum, be sure to always have one of these in stock.
- A selection of brushes and wipes is essential bathroom cleaning equipment. Scrub and special toilet brushes are handy for cleaning the toilet bowl and other bathroom surfaces. Old toothbrushes are useful tools for cleaning grouted areas between tiles. To clean and shine chrome and other metallic fixtures, microfiber wipes are effective and will not leave scratch marks behind.
- A bathroom floor should be cleaned at least once a week. First sweep with a dry mop or brush, and then wet mop using water mixed in your bucket with a disinfectant cleaner.
- Depending on personal preferences, you may want to add rubber gloves, paper towels, broom, dustpan and disposable wipes to your personalized list of bathroom cleaning equipment.
