Airbrush Makeup looks amazing.
Really, it does.
The celebrities can't count on the paparazzi to Photoshop all their photos so they all apply this stuff.
In a way, I guess you could call it "real-life Photoshopping;" it looks that good.
Although it looks amazing, is it really that simple to apply? Well, with practice and good technique it is very possible to be an expert at the art.
Here I'll give you a run through about how to use an airbrush and some pointers that I have learned in my long experience.
You will need:
  • A compressor
  • An airbrush
  • Foundation
  • Water
Method:
  1.  Mix the foundation with the water.
Each product will have a different recommended ratio so read the instruction manual.
  2. Holding the airbrush approximately 8 inches away from the skin of the subject, make circling motions with the airbrush.
It is important that you don't leave the wand lingering for too long on one spot or it will appear considerably darker in sections and patches may occur.
  3. Wait to see how it comes out, as it will be different when it is dry
  4. If you need to correct certain parts or use eyebrow stencils, then do so.
If not, then you are all done!
Airbrush makeup has a bad reputation for being far too difficult but really all it takes is a bit of practice.
One factor that is very important for any beginner is to get a good starter kit.
Make sure that you really do the research and are sure that the kit you choose is the right one for you.
