If you're like me, when you find something that really interests you, you take pleasure in sharing it with other people that might have the same types of interests. Let's take being outdoors as an example.
I have a great love and desire for fly fishing. It's been my favorite sport and pass time for the last 45 years. There's nothing like being in beautiful places, smelling the clean fresh air, although sometimes it can be a little muskie, and sitting along side a lake, river or stream with your favorite fly rod and a bunch of hungry wild trout waiting for you to give them something to bite on.
I waited all my life to find a woman that could share these same likes and desires, and God sent her to me nine years ago. She is my best friend and over these last nine years, she has become my special fly fishing student. She waited her whole life to find someone who could teach the fly fishing tips and techniques I've developed through the years, and now I have someone to share and pass my knowledge to.
We believe that we live better outdoors and what makes this especially great for me is the fact that I have a soul mate that has the same love and desires I have about being in the wilderness.
So many people spend they're entire lives without experiencing the joys and pleasures we've had, and she thought it would be nice to share these experiences with you.
So she decided to write a blog about our life together, a documentary so to speak, of what we've discovered during our years as a couple. All the new fishing spots we've enjoyed throughout the western parts of the U.S. and the best places to visit along the way.
Our hope is that others will find what we write about to be both informative and educational, as we talk about the equipment we use and step-by-step guides on how to use them.
