  Barog is a small village located in the Solan district of the Himachal Pradesh state in north India. As of the 2001 census estimate, the population of Barog was approximately 1,500 people. The village and surrounding areas are situated in the western Himalayas, surrounded by pine and oak forests and offers several full-service hotels that feature good amenities and reasonable value for the area.
