    • 1). Find a medium sturdy Tupperware or Rubbermaid type bowl.

    • 2). Pour some dish soap into the plastic bowl.

    • 3). Add some glass cleaner like Windex to the bowl too.

    • 4). Then fill the bowl up to about three quarters full of water and stir mixture.

    • 5). Place the bowl into your dirty microwave.

    • 6). Start the microwave and run for enough time for the water to boil for awhile. Approximately 3 minutes, depending on the size of the bowl and amount of water you have.

    • 7). If you watch the first time you do this you'll have an idea of what is long enough.

    • 8). Leave the bowl in there while doing other chores.

    • 9). Come back and carefully remove the bowl, using mits, because it will be hot!

      Wipe down the entire microwave, stuck on food will come off easily. The steaming effect loosens everything and makes clean up a breeze.
