How to Make a Baby Corsage With Tulle
- 1). Draw a 2-inch-diameter circle on a piece of cardboard, and cut it out with scissors. You can use a compass or trace something round that is the right size. This is your template.
- 2). Trace the template on the tulle 12 times, and cut out the circles.
- 3). Thread the needle with 1 foot of thread, and tie a knot in the end. Fold a circle in half twice, so you have a piece the shape of a slice of pizza, and pull the needle and thread through the pointed end.
- 4). Fold the rest of the circles, and attach them to the first, by running the needle and thread through the tips of each of them.
- 5). Pull the thread tight, and make a knot. You should have a puffy circle of tulle.
- 6). Attach the tulle flower to the baby's jacket or dress with a diaper pin in the center. The diaper pin adds a whimsical decorative element but also secures the corsage safely. The baby won't be able to open it.
