How to Put on a Snowboarding Boot

    • 1). Put on snowboarding socks. They should rise nearly to your knee and be made of a moisture-wicking material such as merino wool.

    • 2). Sit down on a bench or chair. Spread open the laces of each boot and slide your feet in one at a time.

    • 3). Tighten the laces on each boot until they feel snug.

    • 4). Stand up. Push your heel into the back of the boot, then tighten the laces until your foot doesn't move inside the boot when you wiggle your leg from side to side.

    • 5). While snowboarding, adjust the tightness of the boot as necessary for maximum comfort and control.
