How to Build a Round Poker Table for 10
- 1). Measure the diameter of a large, round dining table for 10.
- 2). Cut fabric purchased at a fabric store to fit the dimensions of the large dining table plus one foot of extra felt fabric. Use scissors.
- 3). Lay the felt over the table and staple it to the bottom of the round dining table. Use a staple gun. Make sure that the felt is secured as tightly as possible.
- 4). Cover the entire edge of the table so that the foam sheet hugs the edge of the table using foam sheets purchased from your local hardware store, or online. The foam should extend at least six inches into the table top.
- 5). Glue the foam sheets to each other using PVC glue to make a foam sheet cast of the entire edge of the table.
- 6). Cut vinyl purchased at a fabric store to surround the foam sheet cast of the table top. Make sure to leave a little excess material to tuck into the cast.
- 7). Staple the vinyl to the inside of the foam sheet cast so the vinyl covers the foam sheet cast. This will make a spongy, vinyl cast of the entire edge of the table top.
- 8). Slip the vinyl cast onto the edge of the table top. Do not pull it too hard when fitting it onto the table so that the foam doesn't get torn. The vinyl cast should fit tightly so that it doesn't move around or slip off.
