How to Completely Uninstall iTunes

    • 1). Exit out of iTunes if you have it open by clicking the "X" in the top right corner.

    • 2). Click "Start" and then select "Control Panel."

    • 3). Select "Programs and Features" for Vista or "Add or Remove Programs" for XP or other versions of Windows.

    • 4). Select "iTunes" from the list of installed programs.

    • 5). Click "Remove" and select "Yes" when a window prompt asks you if you would like to remove iTunes.

    • 6). Select any iPod updater applications and click "Uninstall" and "Yes" to completely uninstall iTunes. Some iTunes programs include QuickTime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, and Apple Application Support. Uninstall these programs using the same steps as above.
