How to Make Baby Carriage Decorations
- 1). Place foam sheets on a flat work surface. Position a stencil on top of one sheet and use a pencil to trace the outline of designs you would like to include in your mobile. Opt for shapes that will interest a baby, such as animals, stars, hearts of letters.
- 2). Remove the stencil from the sheet of foam and cut out the designs you traced. Place the stencil on another sheet and trace and cut out more designs for a multicolored mobile.
- 3). Cut one piece of string for each shape. Tape each foam piece to the end of a string. Tie the string to the roof of the carriage or to the sunshade.
- 1). Wrap a piece of ribbon around the exterior of your baby carriage and cut it at the appropriate length. Choose a color that complements or contrasts with the shade of the carriage.
- 2). Glue the ribbon in place all the way around the perimeter of baby carriage. Allow the glue to dry.
- 3). Cut several 6-inch lengths of ribbon, either in the same color or a contrasting hue to the piece you already used. Tie these 6-inch pieces into bows and glue them to the ribbon strip encircling the carriage. Create as many bows as you like.
