Video: How to Defrizz Wavy Hair
Video Transcript
Hi, I'm Carmen Lee-Sargeant, Owner of The Grand Beauty Spa. I'm going to teach you how to de-frizz wavy hair. As you can see my model's hair is little bit frizzy. So, what I would recommend doing is taking a little bit of an oil on your hand, on your hands. I'm going to use this Elixir and take about one pump, as that. I'm also going to take a little bit of a shake paste, a little bit of a waxy product that I like and I'm going to mix them together and create some heat with your hands. Have a nice shine in your hands. You really want to make sure, you get the product mixed and broken up in your hands. And when you have wavy hair, you want to start from the bottom and just kind of scrunch the hair up because you don't want to take your wave completely away. She has really pretty waves; we just want to remove a little bit of a frizz and soften it a little bit. And start at the bottom because when you use these, these products, if you start at the, at the root, you'll make your hair a little bit too oily. So again, start at the bottom. You don't want to mess with the cuticle too much. When you have wavy hair, the more you mess with it, the bigger and the frizzier it can get. So, be very gentle, scrunch the hair, let the hair move in the direction that it wants to. Wavy hair has its own mind. So, try not to fight it too much. Keep working on scrunching the product into the hair. And so, there you have it. I conclude we remove her frizz. Thank you so much for watching. I'm Carmen.
