How to Make Black Paint From Scratch

1). Mix the egg yolk, gum arabic, and honey in the small bowl.
2). Mix in the crushed charcoal ash. Stir thoroughly to create a thick paste.
3). Pour the mixture into a jar and screw on the lid tight. Set the jar in the sun or next to a fire where it will be warmed for 2 to 3 days before use. This is to steep the mixture and turn it a true black.
4). Mix equal parts of black paste with water to use. Be sure to take only the amount that you need. Once the paint has been mixed, you cannot put it back in the jar with the rest of the paste.
