Matt begins to second guess his decision to sue his parents, Destiny knows that Matt made the right decision as this surgery will help him walk again. Elijah tells Tea that he’s still got a few more tricks up his sleeve, Tea explains that she’s ready for anything he wants to throw at her. Rachel, Greg, Nora and Bo arrive. Tea pulls out all the stops – including calling a surprise witness, that was a paraplegic who was treated by Greg and now she can walk again.

Elijah tries, but fails, to discredit the witness. Tea calls Greg to the stand, wherein his testimony causes Rachel to have an emotional outburst. Starr tells Todd that Cole is working undercover for John, Todd thinks John put Starr and Hope’s life in danger by subjecting Cole to this assignment. Dorian overhears everything. Starr makes Todd promise not to tell anyone. When Todd leaves, Starr frantically tries to get in touch with Cole. However, John locks Cole up – explaining that the job is over, Cole did a great job and that no one from the outside can get to Cole while he’s in prison. Cole is elated that this is all over and that he, Hope and Starr can finally be a family. John tells Cole that arrest warrants are in the making for Sergey, Keaton, Asher and Lowell. Keaton is buzzing around John’s office, wondering where John is. Layla explains that John is gone but Fish is inside. Fish, who is in John’s office listening to the bug planted in Lowell’s office, is startled when Keaton bursts in.

Keaton unplugs something which disconnects the computer from the bug. Fish tries to quickly repair it.

Meanwhile, Viki and Charlie ask Mayor Lowell to attend her announcement event – where all the major news channels will be. Lowell declines the invitation, Viki (who wants to run a clean campaign) thinks Lowell is making a mistake. Dorian shows up and ushers Viki and Charlie out as she has something important to talk with the Mayor about. Dorian tells Lowell about Cole and how she can get the charges against Justin dropped. Lowell thanks Dorian for her work, then send her to find Viki and Charlie. Lowell calls Keaton and tells him that Cole is working undercover. Keaton was unaware of Cole’s involvement, Lowell thinks that Cole knows too much and tells Keaton to kill Cole when he gets the chance. Cris goes to see Carlotta at the Buenos Dias, where they plan the fall menu. Carlotta asks Cris when he’s going to find himself the right girl, like Fish did with Layla. Cris quickly changes the subject and is then relieved to see Layla. They sit together and talk about Fish. Cris bought a book entitled “How to Tell your Parents that you’re Gay.” That he wants Layla to give to Fish, Layla tells Cris that it was his idea to get the book so he should give it to Fish. Carlotta sees the book and thinks that it’s Cris’. Viki and Charlie get Carlotta to agree to pass out posters and pins at the Buenos Dias.

Dorian finds Viki and Charlie and explains that the Mayor will not be attending Viki’s announcement event. Charlie goats Dorian into getting the Mayor to come to Viki’s party, and to a debate. Dorian storms off, in search of Lowell. Viki can’t believe that Charlie was able to con Dorian into getting Lowell at her party and to a debate. Todd pays Lowell a visit, tells him about Cole, then wants Lowell to help in getting Cole out of the assignment so that the drug dealers pose no threat to Starr or Hope. John returns to his office, Fish explains that Keaton pulled a plug and he didn’t hear anything. Fish is working on getting everything running. Once everything is working, Fish is able to rewind the tape and he and John listen to everything – from Dorian telling Lowell about Cole to Cole telling Keaton to kill Cole. John is furious. As Cole waits in his cell for John, Keaton pays him a visit. . .
