- 1). Pour about 2 tbsp. baking soda into the mug, followed by 1/2 cup white vinegar. Allow the mixture to foam a bit, and then shake the mug to allow the mixture to clean off the entire mug surface.
- 2). Wash the mug with warm, soapy dish water. Rinse the mug and dry.
- 3). Place 1/2 cup baking soda into the mug if any odor remains. Let the baking soda remain overnight to collect any leftover plastic smell, and wash the mug the next day with warm, soapy water.
