    • 1). Clean the bottom of the bathtub to remove soap residue. Use a wet sponge or brush with an abrasive bathroom cleaner to remove the most residue. This helps prevent slipping while you remove the decals. Rinse the tub and wait for it to dry.

    • 2). Lift the corner of the decal with your fingernail or a thin, flat, sturdy object such as a putty knife or razor blade. Peel away from your hand to prevent cutting yourself.

    • 3). Peel the decal from the corner slowly. Make sure that the decal is not separating, leaving the adhesive on the tub. Begin a new corner if the decal starts to separate.

    • 4). Work around the decal as necessary until the entire decal is removed.

    • 5). Remove any residual adhesive by scrubbing with a bathroom cleaner. Place a small amount of a powered, abrasive cleaner on a sponge or rag to clean the affected area.

    • 6). Soak difficult adhesive residue in cleaning solution for at least 30 minutes. Drain the tub and then wipe the residue away with a sponge or cloth.

    • 7). Rinse away the cleaner with water and allow the tub to air-dry. Apply new decals as desired.
