- 1). Restart your system and press "F8," several times in succession, until the safe mode options load. Select safe mode.
- 2). Click the "Start" button and type "regedit" in the "Start Search" or "Run" field to open the Registry Editor software. Registry Editor allows you to remove the registry entries created by the Trojan Win32 Monderd Gen.
- 3). Click "Edit" and click "Find Next." Type the following registry entries, individually, in the "Find Next" box:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software \Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft \Windows\ CurrentVersion
Explorer/ShellFolders Startup="C:\windows/start menu/programs\startup - 4). Click the "Find Next" button.
- 5). Right-click the registry value and click "Delete." Exit the Registry Editor.
