Flea Control Products for Cats
Topical cat flea control products work by affecting the nerve receptors of the flea. They are usually applied to the cat's skin at the back of the neck, and are collected in the cat's hair follicles, from which the product is slowly released. Topical flea control products are relatively safe, effective, and easy to use, provided you closely follow the label instructions.
For consumers reluctant to use chemical products on their cats, there are also a number of natural flea control products available now.
For best use, spray your cat's fur thoroughly, including his legs, and tummy. Never spray on the cat's face, however, you could spray a small amount on your hand and carefully apply it to the top of your cat's head. Be very careful not to get it in his eyes, nose, or mouth.
The manufacturer suggests that you use this product in conjunction with the related shampoo and conditioner described below.More »
