How to Change a Regulator Hose Grill
- 1). Listen for a hissing sound from your propane tank and grill operation. Notice any smell of leaking propane gas. If you hear any sound or smell gas, you have a faulty connection between your tank and your grill and your hose needs to be replaced. Close the valve on the gas tank immediately
- 2). Detach the nozzle on one end of the regulator by turning it counterclockwise. Detach the other end of the nozzle from the grill. The connection is right behind the front control panel.
- 3). Attach the new hose to the propane tank. You will attach the end with a black nozzle to the valve on side of the propane tank. You will hear a slight hissing sound as you attach the nozzle to the tank, but as you tighten the hose by turning it in a clockwise direction, the hissing will stop.
- 4). Attach the other end of the hose to the grill. Once again, this connection is right behind the front control panel. Turn the connection clockwise until it is tight and cannot be turned any more. Check out both the connection from the propane tank and the grill and make sure that they are both tightened fully.
- 5). Turn on the gas by opening the valve on top of the tank. Turn it clockwise. You are now in a position to light the grill and cook.
