Making Daisy Corsages
- 1). Trim the stems off three or five daisies, leaving about three inches of stem on the flowers. Insert the ends of some green floral wire into the ends of the stems and wrap them with green florist tape. Tape the bases of some leaves together with green florist tape if you want to incorporate any leaves.
- 2). Arrange the daisies in a triangle or a cluster and tape the wires and the base of the leaves together. The daisies at the center will need to have their stem wires bent at a right angle, while the others need to be bent just so that they are all facing up and outward. Add some baby's breath and the leaves, if you want them, and tape them together.
- 3). Cut a length of ribbon that is about one and half feet long. Dab some hot glue on the taped stems and attach them to the middle of the ribbon. Make sure it is in place and let the glue harden. Tie a bow around the taped together stems and bend the ends of the wired stems up and in to hide them.
- 4). Put the corsage on your wrist (or have your date do it) by wrapping the ends of the ribbon around your wrist, with the flowers at the top. Make sure it is snug but not uncomfortable. You can even wrap the ribbon around again and tie the ends in another bow at the top.
