    • 1). Apply wood glue to the back of the laminate edging. Apply it in a zig-zag pattern, but do not apply too much glue as it will not enhance the bonding and most of it will seep out and be wasted.

    • 2). Press the laminate edging over the edge of the counter or shelf.

    • 3). Press a wood block on the top of the counter and against the edge of the counter.

    • 4). Install a c-clamp to hold the blocks on the top and the side of the counter or shelf. This will hold the laminate edging in place while it dries. The wood blocks will protect the counter.

    • 5). Immediately wipe up the wood glue with a water-dampened cloth.

    • 6). Dry the laminate edging.
