- 1). Click the "Start" button, right-click "Computer" and select "Manage."
- 2). Click "Device Manager" from the left pane of the "Computer Management" windows.
- 3). Click the triangle next to "Mice and other pointing devices" to expand it.
- 4). Right-click your mouse in the expanded list and select "Properties."
- 5). Click the "Power Management" tab in the mouse properties window.
- 6). Check "Allow this device to wake the computer" and click "OK." Now you will be able to wake your computer by moving your mouse.
