How to Disable a Password in Windows XP

- 3). Click on "User Accounts".
- 4). Click on the account whose password you want to disable. You should see the words "Password Protected" near that account's icon.
- 5). Click the third task on the list, "Remove the password".
- 6). Click the "Remove Password" button to confirm. You may now log in as the selected user without a password.
