2010 Fantasy Baseball Rankings - Closers

103 19
This is the ninth report in the series of our 2010 fantasy baseball rankings looking at the closers.
This is the most unstable position on your fantasy baseball team even though it has the smallest category impact when compared to other spots on your roster.
Every season there are usually 10 or more relief pitchers that did not start the season at closer that end up getting some saves.
That means that roughly 33% or more of major league baseball teams are going to have closer problems at some point.
This makes the upper echelon of closers much more valuable for their consistency and dependability.
It also means once the top tier of closers are off the draft board, you don't need to panic and chase saves because there is a very good possibility that several closers from the middle to low tiers are going to lose their job.
History has shown us that you are going to be able to get extra saves at some point during the season via free agency.
Here is a look at the top 30 closers as we head into the 2010 season.
