How to Override the Imaging Drum on an HP 2500

1). Switch off the HP LaserJet 2500 by unplugging it from the power source.
2). Push and hold the "Go" button on your printer. It is green in color and located on the front panel.
3). Turn your printer back on while you continue to hold the "Go" button.
4). Let the printer illuminate the "Ready" and "Attention" lights on the front panel.
5). Continue pressing and holding the "Go" button for an additional 30 seconds or so. Release the "Go" button when the "Ready" and "Attention" lights go off.
6). Let the printer illuminate the "Ready" light once again. At this point, the information on your imaging drum has been overridden.
