- 1). Enter *#06# into your phone's keypad. Press the "SEND" button. Write down the 15-digit IMEI number that is displayed.
- 2). Contact your wireless provider. Ask for an unlock code for your Alcatel phone. Provide the representative with your IMEI number. Write down the unlock code.
- 3). Turn off your Alcatel phone. Turn it over and remove the battery cover. Take out the battery and SIM card. The SIM card looks similar to a microchip. Replace it with the SIM card from your wireless network.
- 4). Enter the unlock code as *#0000*CODE# where "CODE" is your unlock code. Press the "OK" button. Your phone will restart itself and unlock to the new network.
