    Internet Explorer 7

    • 1). Click the "Start" button, then select "Control Panel."

    • 2). Click "Network and Internet," then select "Internet Options."

    • 3). Click the "Delete" button that appears under the "Browsing History" heading on the General tab.

    • 4). Click "Delete cookies," then select "Yes" when asked to confirm.

    • 5). Click "Close" then click "OK."

    Internet Explorer 8

    • 1). Open a new browser window.

    • 2). Click "Safety" at the top of the window, then select "Delete Browsing History" from the menu.

    • 3). Make sure the box next to "Cookies" is checked. Click the box to check it if necessary.

    • 4). Check the box next to "Preserve Favorites website data" if you want to retain the cookies placed on the computer by the websites in your Internet Explorer Favorites list.

    • 5). Click "Delete."

    Mozilla Firefox

    • 1). Open Firefox, then click "Tools."

    • 2). Click "Clear Recent History."

    • 3). Make sure the box next to "Cookies" is checked, and select the time frame you want to delete from the pull-down menu. You can delete all stored cookies, or just those from a certain time period.

    • 4). Click "Clear Now."
