    • 1). On the back of the guitar controller, locate and remove the plastic door covering the port for the Wii remote. The plastic door is the same size and shape as the Wii remotes that came with your system.

    • 2). Locate the connector plug inside the body of the guitar. Insert the plug into the slot on the bottom of the Wii remote you wish to connect. You should hear a "click" when the remote is connected properly.

    • 3). Place the entire Wii remote in the body of the guitar in the port area. The Wii remote will face to the front or back of the guitar controller depending on your model's design. If your guitar controller has a front window in the shape of a Wii remote, make sure the remote's lights and buttons are visible.

    • 4). Replace the plastic door to the Wii remote port.

    • 5). Make sure the "Power" buttons on both your guitar controller and your Wii remote are flipped "on." Now your second guitar controller will be ready for use with "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" for the Nintendo Wii console.

    • 6). Insert the "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" game into your Nintendo Wii. The game's main menu will load.

    • 7). Use the first controller to set up the type of game you'd like. You can choose to play cooperatively, competitively or advance through the "Story" mode of the game by selecting the appropriate menu options on screen.

    • 8). Press the green button on each guitar controller to enter that device into the game. You may now pick your instruments using the on-screen guide and both controllers will be ready to play "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith."
