First, I will not give in "Bay Bashing" technique that involves denigrating the director for his style. Although some elements said about him are true, the fact remains that Bay has some good feature films (The Island, Pain & Gain, Bad Boys 1 & 2, Transformers). As I just mentioned Transformers was a pleasant surprise for me Transformers. Revenge of the Fallen was a dismal failure and Dark Side of the Moon came conclude the saga adequately.

Regarding Transformers: Age of Extinction, Bay returns to completion, with a new cast and new ideas to the scenario. And on paper, we can say that the movie holds, and even manages to be the best of the saga. In fact, this is true, almost. So we must add many nuances to this statement. First, the addition of Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci is welcome, as Sophia Myles and Li Bingbing, even the two women are under-exploited. By-cons, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, and, to some extent, Kelsey Grammer and TJ Miller are on casting errors. Grammer, and his character, are a kind of copy of the third installment antagonist, played by Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy), but according to the CIA, while Reynor is like a hair in the soup.

His character serves only to include product placement for Red Bull to create a bad conflict / running gag between this character and that of Wahlberg (Indeed, the moment "Romeo & Juliet situation borders on nanar. ) and help create a loophole in some scenes, as Reynor interpreting a racing driver. In addition, the product placement is horrible. There is no problem to include advertising in feature films, it helps the budget of the film and helps make the world of the characters closest to ours. By-cons, when Wahlberg picks up a bottle of beer from a truck that has been destroyed, and greedily drinks his drink in the middle of an action scene, or when Tucci drinks a cup of milk for a Chinese good 30 seconds to a few centimeters from the camera (The drink was so close that if I was Chinese, I could read the ingredients... ).

Upon completion, Bay continues in his style, while improving some aspects, such as fighting, which in their eternal confusion, become easier to follow, in comparison to previous works, thanks to the implementation and design of everything robotics, which, for once, finally can differentiate the good guys and bad guys. Also, Transformers: Age of Extinction affords a nice third dimension, and we will not we complain. By-cons, the film suffers from a length enabling it to include unnecessary scenes, like when the autobots behave like children without any reason, but the worst is found in the final.

Transformers: Age of Extinction has a long finish, and when we thought the film is relatively finite, affords another final most gigantic and more intimate. The latter is clearly less successful, but it helps in some way, the feature film end on a high note, "promising" fifth album which will be better, at least we hope so. Transformers Age of Extinction Movie Also, before concluding, it is worth mentioning the scenario that still has its chessy humor and, in addition, builds (too?) Star Wars for a few scenes, the objective of the robots is called seed in its Quebec version and I must say that sometimes the lining of Mark Wahlberg was a little too obvious to me taste.

In conclusion, what what Transformers: Age of Extinction? A feature in line with the previous album, with its flaws and qualities. Nevertheless, it is good entertainment that is worth seeing, even if it is not essential to see in the movies...
