How to Import and Add Comments to PDF Files

    Import comments

    • 1). Open the PDF file. Click "Start" from the System Tray located at the bottom of the desktop. Click "All Programs" and click "Adobe Reader" from the application list.

    • 2). Click "File" from the top menu in Adobe Reader. Click "Open" from the drop-down menu, browse to the PDF file you wish to import comments to and click "Open."

    • 3). Click "Document" from the top menu, select "Comments" from the drop-down menu and click "Import Comments."

    • 4). Select "All Files (*.*) from the menu.

    • 5). Double-click the document with the comments you wish to import. The comments are imported into your new PDF file.

    Add comments

    • 1). Open the PDF file. Click "Start" from the System Tray located at the bottom of the desktop. Click "All Programs" and click "Adobe Reader" from the application list.

    • 2). Click "File" from the top menu in Adobe Reader. Click "Open" from the drop-down menu, browse to the PDF file you wish to add comments to and click "Open."

    • 3). Click "View" from the top menu, select "Toolbars" from the drop-down menu and click "More Tools."

    • 4). Check the box next to "Comment & Markup Toolbar" in the More Tools window.

    • 5). Click the "Sticky Note" tool from the Comment & Markup toolbar. Click on the document where you wish to add a comment. A yellow-bordered note will appear. Enter your comment within the note.
