- 1). Purchase ArtPlus Digital Photo Recovery. The software is available for $24.95 as of 2011. When you make the purchase online via credit card, you will be emailed a product key. Store this key somewhere safe.
- 2). Run the installer after downloading it. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter the product key when you are prompted for it.
- 3). Go to "Start" > "Programs" and run "ArtPlus."
- 4). Place a checkmark next to each file type you want to recover, for instance, ".jpg" or ".raw."
- 5). Select an action on the next window by checking the radio button; for instance, "Restore photos directly from memory card." Depending on the number of files that are to be recovered, the restoring process may take up to several hours. Once the program has finished restoring the files, the progress bar will stop.
