Redesigning Your Face - The New American Trend

Plastic surgery has become extraordinarily common.
I asked 5, random co-workers if they, or someone they knew had undergone some type of cosmetic surgery, and 3 of them knew at least one person.
That is equaled to 60% of the total.
However, I would bet if I conducted a blind study and asked 100 random people this question, approximately 85% would know at least one person.
Plastic surgery has changed.
Since the millennium, people are much more willing to flaunt their cosmetic surgeries, rather than keep them a secret.
My aunt received a rhinoplasty nearly 30 years ago, and would be mortified if anyone knew.
On the contrary, if you tune in to the A&E reality-television series, "The Real Housewives in Orange County," the women openly discuss the prevalence of plastic surgery in their city.
I recall one woman quoting, "Most every woman I know has had Botox and fake boobs.
" What does this mean in regards to our society? Obviously, we already know the concept of beauty is like a charade that models plaster all over our television screens, our magazines, and our walls.
Yet, as the societal pressure of 'looking pretty' mounts, I am fairly certain even those who are overtly opposed to the idea of cosmetic procedures will think twice as years build.
Although there are many people who highly oppose the idea of altering their appearances to adhere to society's standards, the truth is, cosmetic procedures are not going anywhere.
While some people disagree with the concept, these practices are here to stay.
Since North Americans are living in a bold, independent, and somewhat narcissistic society, it is highly important if deciding to go through with cosmetic procedures that you take the appropriate precautions.
There are alarmingly high rates of cases where clients are either unhappy or injured after cosmetic rejuvenation has been done.
These are especially common in cases for people who undergo procedures for their faces.
Damage to your face can be physically and emotionally scarring.
It is important to remember that physical damage is nothing compared to emotional damage.
Luckily, the level of expertise required by plastic surgeons has grown within the last few years.
However, the process of finding someone you trust with talent, can be daunting.
There are places that offer the best of both worlds.
Remember, changing your face is a life-long decision.
It should be considered carefully.
Do the proper research if you are serious about your choice.
Finding the right doctor could determine if you look like beauty or the beast.
