For the millions of people in the world that go through anxiety attacks, they know all too well how serious this problem is.
If you suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, you need to know that others know what you are going through and while debilitating, talk to your doctor because you do have treatment options.
With help, you will be able to study in school, perform at work, and take back control of your life.
Common symptoms are experienced among people with panic attacks to include stomach pain, headaches, chest pain, heart palpitations, mood swings, and the list goes on.
As you already know, going through an anxiety attack is very scary.
By meeting with your doctor, other health issues will be eliminated and an anxiety disorder confirmed so the proper treatment could be determined.
With panic attacks being such a huge problem, the amount of research being conducted by scientists and medical professionals has increased.
Even though these professionals do not agree on everything, such as this being an inherited problem.
Even so, most believe that two specific factors are associated with anxiety attacks to include chemical imbalance in the brain and post traumatic stress disorder.
More studies will be conducted to gain even more insight but many answers are now available.
Within the brain are neurotransmitters that contain chemicals.
These transmitters are responsible for sending out signals to other parts of the body.
Therefore, when these chemicals are imbalanced, the signals are disrupted, causing the onset of an anxiety attack.
Then, if faced with divorce, death, major illness, or even an experience such as a loved one fighting in war, some people have trouble coping, which leads to post traumatic stress disorder and anxiety attacks.
If you currently struggle with an anxiety disorder, and even if you only have attacks occasionally, remember that the digestive problems, headaches, and chest pains are serious but you have treatment options.
Some people have experienced such intense symptoms of anxiety attacks that they called for an ambulance, believing they were suffering from a full-blown heart attack.
The key is to sit down with your doctor so the different treatments can be discussed.
Soon, you will be on your way to a better life once you and your doctor stop anxiety and panic attacks from occurring.
