Colon Cancer
It is now known that a series of high fiber foods like garlic, milk or raw vegetables, help prevent cancer. On the other hand, the risk of developing cancer grows as we consume red meat, processed foods and alcohol. At the same time, the excessive consumption of these foods can lead to the accumulation of abdominal fat.

Breast Cancer
The risk of cancer is low at women who have breastfed and at those who participate in sustained physical activities. Though, as same as above, the consumption of alcohol and fatty foods will increase your chances of developing breast cancer. Other factors that can lead to breast cancer are dietary imbalances like high red meat intake, sweets, margarine, the use of fruits in products like jam and marmalade or habits like smoking. For the health of your breasts you should consider eating as many raw foods as you can; lots of vegetables, fruits and tea. For example apples are always good, as well as soya but only if it's organic.

Prostate Cancer
Foods that contain lycopene and selenium can prevent prostate cancer. Studies have shown that dehydrated vegetables and foods that contain vitamin E, used on a daily basis, semnificantly help the prevention of prostate cancer. Meanwhile studies indicate that dairy products, fats and meat increase the risk of developing this disease. A diet rich in refined carbs, like rice and white bread, was associated with the formation of cancer tumors in the prostate. Specialists advocate that the consumption of unsaturated fatty acids like omega 3 which can be found in salmon, herring, mackerel, anchovies or sardines can reduce the risk of developing prostate cancer up to 60%. Other studies show that men who have a diet rich in vegetables like garlic, onions or scallion present a lower risk of contracting cancer. The World Health Organization advises on the use of one garlic clove per day.

Seven recommandations for preventing cancer:
1. Maintain your body mass index at a normal level
2. Have a daily routine that includes sustained physical activity
3. Limit the intake of high calorie foods and avoid sweet drinks
4. Eat vegetables on a daily basis
5. Avoid as much as possible red meat and processed meat
6. Limit the consumption of alcohol to 1 glass per day for women and 2 glasses per day for men
7. Avoid excessive intake of salt
