- 1). Determine approximately where you want to place the knobs.
- 2). Place the knob template snugly on the corner of the door. The template will have a variety of predrilled holes in it, giving you several options. Find the hole that comes closest to where you want the knobs. Circle the hole on the template so you know which one to use for the other cabinet doors. Mark the location of the hole using a pencil.
- 3). Drill through the cabinet door from the front. Use a drill bit the same size as the screw for the knob.
- 4). Place the knob screw through the hole from the back of the door and screw the knob on the front. Hold the knob and tighten the screw with the screwdriver.
- 5). Flip the template over and place it on the corner of the adjoining cabinet door and repeat the process. Continue on each cabinet door in the room.
