How to Get Liquid Chalk Stains Out of Clothing

    • 1). Brush away as much of the liquid chalk as you can. Use a stiff bristled brush and go against the grain of the fabric until you have removed as much of the stain as you can. Do not use water on the stain, since that can cause the liquid chalk to set in even more.

    • 2). Cover the entire liquid chalk stain with a laundry pretreat stick. Make sure you cover the entire stain in the pretreat solution.

    • 3). Wash the clothing item in the hottest water the fabric will tolerate. Remove the clothing from the washer and examine it carefully to make sure the stain is gone before putting it in the dryer. Placing the item in the dryer with the stain still in place can set it in and make it nearly impossible to remove.

    • 4). Soak a sponge with rubbing alchol and dab it at the stained area if any liquid chalk remains after washing and drying. Remove as much of the stain as you can, then rewash the item on the hottest possible setting.
