    • 1). Comb a quarter-size amount of hair gel through slightly damp hair. If your hair is longer than shoulder length, you may need to use more hair gel.

    • 2). Part the hair to one side using a comb, and brush hair out so it lays flat around your shoulders.

    • 3). Place one finger at the part in your hair and hold the comb flush against your finger. Drag the hair forward, pulling the hair with it to make the first arch of a wave.

    • 4). Place a second finger over the hair that has been pulled forward, then drag the comb back to pull the hair into the second half of the arched wave.

    • 5). Place a third finger next to the second finger and begin steps 3 and 4 again to create a second wave.

    • 6). Repeat the waving process until you have as many waves around your face as you want.
