- 1). Place a small leaf of lettuce on a small dish, tearing it if necessary to make it fit.
- 2). Place the dish containing the lettuce leaf in the aquarium.
- 3). Leave the dish in place overnight. The food attracts the snails, which will be on the dish in the morning, eating the lettuce.
- 4). Remove the dish from the tank and throw away the snails.
- 5). Continue doing this until the snails are gone.
