When most smokers attempt to end their addiction, they look in all of the wrong places in the wrong ways.
They look to stop smoking aids (smoking aids can help tremendously, though).
They look to medications.
They look to ways they can replace their nicotine addiction with.
The thing is, all of these things can help tremendously with smoking cessation, but not in the way that many people use them.
Quitting for good is an internal battle.
A smoker must be able to look within themselves and learn how to use their own will power, determination, and motivation to their own advantage when it comes to quitting.
The following stop smoking tip I am about to cover will help you do just that...
Quit For Good With This Stop Smoking Tip! A smoker's reason for quitting in most cases is the realization of what it is doing to their health or the financial burden associated with having to buy more and more packs of cigarettes.
This isn't why all smokers quit, but it definitely speaks for the majority.
Health and finances are two things that can be easily measured when it comes to the harm smoking does to a person.
For example, a person hacking up tar day in and day out is probably going to contemplate whether or not they should go on with their habit.
Whatever a smoker's reason for quitting is, all smokers will run into the brick wall that is nicotine withdrawal and cravings.
These are the two things that ultimately keep smokers coming back for more and they are reason why the majority of smokers are able to "pull through" and quit for good.
If you want to make it then you are going to need to have great will power, determination, and motivation.
The tip I've been referring to all along in terms of helping you stick to your own strength (will power, determination, and motivation) is the idea of incentivisation.
It's an incredibly simple concept, but it's also an incredibly powerful concept.
What exactly does it mean? Basically, you are rewarding yourself for quitting smoking.
Sure, improving your overall health and well being is a great reward, but for most people it isn't quite enough in terms of keeping them going.
If you know that there is something waiting for you, something that gets you excited, then you are going to be much more driven to stick with your goal than without an incentive.
So, what you will want to do is set milestones for yourself (not smoking for a week, not smoking for a month, etc.
) and reward yourself each time you reach those milestones.
However often you decide to reward yourself is fine, so long as you are rewarding yourself with something you genuinely want, kind of like that urge to smoke a cigarette.
Remember, you'll be saving tons of cash by not draining your money on packs of cigarettes, so spending money in order to reward yourself shouldn't be a problem (if your incentive requires that you spend cash).
Learn How To Make Quitting Much Easier Remember, you own will power, determination, and motivation is what is ultimately going to do it for you in the end.
Using the stop smoking tip I've illustrated above will definitely help you take care of these internal factors.
However, that's not to say that you can't make the process of quitting easier in general through other means, you can! By using a proven stop smoking aid you can achieve smoking cessation success much more easily.
