- 1). Go to a fishing store like the one in Port Sarim.
- 2). Right-click on the store owner and select the "Trade" option. This will open the store interface with a list of the items that are in stock.
- 3). Right-click on the fly fishing rod and select the "Buy 1" option. Five gold pieces will be deducted from your inventory.
- 4). Buy feathers in a similar fashion. Feathers start at six gold pieces each and become slightly more expensive as the store's stock diminishes. Buy as many feathers as you need depending on the number of fish you want to catch. You will need one feather per fish you intend to catch.
- 5). Go to a freshwater fishing area such as the one on the river by Lumbridge.
- 6). Click on the fishing spot to throw your line. You will see bubbles emerging from certain spots along the river that you can click on. Feathers will automatically be removed from your inventory as you attempt to catch fish. Any fish you catch will appear in your inventory until it is full.
