Hi, I'm Linda Mendoza from Fantasy's Hair Salon. And today, I'm going to share with you some tips and techniques on how to create natural looking curls with a wand. I tend to not grab the hair so tight onto the wand. As I only want to create a wave. And I also tend to rotate it as I'm getting to the edge. Now, you also want to make sure that you have your hot glove as you tend to get burned. So, I'm going to wrap it around and lightly hold up the end and glide down as you are curling, great. Now, I'm going to do it one more time on the top section. Now the thicker that your sections are, the looser your curl will be. So, it's going to be easier to recreate that natural looking wave, if the sections are a little bit big. So, once again, I'm going to wrap the hair around. And I'm going to glide it down as my tips are getting curled, awesome. So now that your whole hair has been curled, what I'm going to do, is I'm going to add some curling cream. Now, this curling cream, it's really great because it brings out your natural curls, if you already have curls. But it also brings out any type of curls that you do with a hot tool. So, I'm just going to lightly spread throughout and crunch up a little bit. That way the curls volume can stay all the way from the tip, and not lose the volume from the tip. And you also don't want to apply too much of the product on the top. Since the top is already straight and it tends to build it's own natural oils. Our ends are the ones that tend to be a little bit more dry. So it's where we want to add the product. So, once I do that throughout my hair, I'm going to bring the hair back a little bit to create more of a natural wave and to loosen up the curls from each other. Now, what I'm going to do is, with a wide tooth comb, I'm going to slightly comb throughout my curls. So, you want to comb all the way till you get to the tips, from the roots. Now, I'm kind of just gliding my comb as the waves are coming, I'm not fully just brushing it out. I'm gliding and bringing my comb in and out, working with the waves as it's going down the hair strands. And to finish it off, we're going to add some shine, spray on shine is much better when it comes to these natural waves As we have already applied a product that goes on our palms.
