Get Ready

• You will need a blender, water, dish soap with grease cutter, baking soda, a bucket and a synthetic sponge.
  You probably have all of these items already in your home. Each is very affordable and easy to obtain.
  When choosing your dish soap, you may wish to pick one with a pleasant flagrance as the smell will be in your furniture.
  
  

Make Your Cleaner

• Combine 1/4 cup of your detergent with 1 cup of warm water.
  Pour into your blender and turn on low. It will become very sudsy.Now add 1 tbsp. of baking soda and blend for 10 seconds on low.
  Pour your mixture into your bucket, and you are ready to clean.
  
  

Cleaning with Your Mixture

• Dip your sponge and gently wring out leaving it wet but not dripping.
  Select a small spot on your upholstery to spot test. Rub in a circular motion. Give your test spot up to 10 minutes to dry to assure there is no fading of color.
  Continue cleaning in circular motions.
  Let dry overnight and vacuum in the morning.
  You now have clean upholstery at a price you can afford.
