WoW Gold Making
Although in my opinion the best way is to handle the AH business, there are a couple of hints that everyone should know.
Playing your profession I guess all of You guys have professions, not just gathering profession but professions which makes items or provide item bonuses.
First of all, You need to maximize the level of your professions otherwise You wont be making any gold.
Now if You have a gathering profession like mining, all You have to do is just mine the latest mineral, which sells the highest on the AH.
I used to mine a lot of Saronite Ore, before is started running the AH business.
But this applies to skinning (kill the monsters which gives You the best-selling material), herbalism (gather herbs that are materials for high priced alchemical stuff like flasks, which are in high demand by raiders, or materials for inscription stuff).
Selling with professions Okay, lets start with tailoring, leatherworking and blacksmithing.
You can make money in 2 ways: 1st:make items for players who just turned their gear level (level 40 - when they are allowed to wear their ultimate armor - like plate for warriors, mail for hunters).
These guys will pay a huge amount of money just because they waited so much to be able to wear those armors.
2nd:Make items for high level players.
Making high level armor or weapons (epic quality) is pretty expensive so You will need to watch out not to spend too much cash on the materials (best way is to farm them by yourself) otherwise you wont be making profit at the end.
As You could learn from my previous posts, sell your stuff when there is overpriced or no competition =) A special case: Enchanting With enchanting we came to an interesting area, because You can only post your disenchanted material on the AH, and You will be making money by selling your enchants personally.
I covered how to make gold by disenchanting stuff in a previous post, so lets focus on live-selling.
First, as every business, You need a good commercial.
A macro that You will be posting over time in the /2 trade channel.
Don't post too often because that is not socially well-received.
You want to have interesting markings in your post to gather attention.
Like:
- Teddy's Enchanting Shop
Now in the content You need to convince your upcoming customers that You are their best choice.
Write about how underpriced your enchants are, and they never gonna find a better deal on the server.
If you really want to underprice the competition, check the AH and sell your stuff just a little bit under the materials AH price.
You could ask where does the profit come from than? It comes from the enchanting fee =) This is a fee that your customers need to pay just because You made them something.
If customers bring all the material You still get the fee.
Try to sell your stuff starting by the evening because most people get home from work that time and it is the best for them.
The disenchant fee varies upon your realms economy, I suggest to make it 1g cheaper than your competition.
When I was doing this, I earned 15g per normal enchant and 50g per very very epic enchant.
So I made 100g in 20 minutes after I logged in:) Conclusion Thanks for reading my guide, in conclusion I believe that using the Auction House selling strategies make much-much profit, but if You don't feel so "AH", than these tips will help You increase your profit outside.
