- 1). Download a removal software program (see Resources) and save it to your desktop.
- 2). Reboot your computer and press “F8” several times after the logo of your computer’s manufacturer appear on the screen.
- 3). Select “safe mode” using the arrow keys and press enter.
- 4). Double-click on the malware removal file on your desktop to run the program. Ignore any warnings saying that the file was downloaded from the Internet and might not be safe.
- 5). Click on “Scan for Vundo.” Let the software check your system and click on “Fix Vundo” to remove any detected Virtumonde files by Vundofix.
- 6). Click on “Continue” and “Start” if you are using Virtumondobegone
