    • 2). Turn the High-Flow manual air relief valve one quarter turn counterclockwise to open it. Open the waste drain valve or plug, if applicable.

    • 4). Disconnect the air relief valve hose, if you have one installed.

    • 6). Lift out the top manifold, and remove the filter cartridges.

    • 9). Spray inside the tank with the water hose to wash out any debris. Make sure the gasket at the bottom of the plate is firmly in place.

    • 11

Check the lower tank to make sure the O-ring is firmly in place. Place the filter lid on top of the lower tank, with the O-ring in between.

    • 12

Place the tank top onto the lower tank, and re-install the clamp following the filter clamp installation instructions.

    • 13

Close the drain plug, and connect the air relief valve drain hose if applicable.

    • 14

Turn the High-Relief manual air relief valve one quarter turn clockwise until it snaps into place.

    • 15

Turn on the pump and automatic controls.

    Filter Clamp Installation

    • 1). Hold the ends of the filter clamp apart, and place the center of the filter clamp onto the upper and lower tank flanges.

    • 2). Pull the ends of the filter clamp together. Place the T-Bolt, located on one side of the clamp, into the hollow space in the trunnion on the other side of the clamp.

    • 3). Place the large I.D. washer and tension-indicating spring onto the barrel nut. Place the small I.D. washer onto the T-Bolt. Tighten the barrel nut with your hand in a clockwise direction.

    • 4). Tighten the barrel nut clockwise with a 7/8-inch wrench until the spring coils touch.
