How to Fix an Ink Smudge on Metallic Card Stock

    • 1). Dip the end of a cotton swab into rubbing alcohol and squeeze off the excess alcohol with your fingers so the swab is only damp.

    • 2). Rub the swab over the ink smudge, gently, to wet the ink and cause it to pool up away from the card stock.

    • 3). Blot the ink with a paper towel to remove it. Repeat the process if the ink is not completely gone, but never allow moisture to sit on the card stock, as it will eventually permeate the metallic layer and cause bubbles or ripples.
