    • 1). Feed the lace down through the bottom eyelets of the shoe, creating a straight bar across the bottom. Looking at the front of the shoe, the left lace length should be shorter than the right lace length.

    • 2). Cross the lace strands over each other, creating an "X" across the tongue of the shoe. Feed the strands down through the fourth hole on each strand's corresponding side.

    • 3). Feed both strands up through the lower eyelet on the same side. Feed the right strand through the top eyelet on the left side.

    • 4). Feed the left strand straight across the shoe tongue, then down into the corresponding eyelet on the right side. Feed the same strand up through the next top eyelet, then straight across down into the eyelet on the left side.

    • 5). Feed the left strand \through the next lower eyelet and finally, diagonally across the tongue, up through the right topmost eyelet.
